In Pursuit of Purpose

The main purpose for us being called into the family of God is to provide Him the pleasure of communion with us ~

When God created Adam, He placed him in a garden called Eden. Eden means pleasure or delight. In Genesis 3:8, we read of Him walking through the garden, looking for Adam. By deduction, therefore, it is safe to say that God took delight in coming daily to commune with Adam in Eden, the place of delight and pleasure. No wonder He felt cheated, when Adam turned to Satan for pleasure. Today God is still seeking to have communion with us, His people.
